The past few trips my motor bogs down while throttling up the first time. It feels like it doesn’t want to go then all the sudden kicks in and runs fine. She doesn’t skip a beat the rest of the day. Any ideas on what could cause this and why it only happens once? Thanks as always

I’m not an expert at this but my motor had the same problem. After thinking and researching about it for a long time I narrowed it down to either not being warmed up or gummed up carbs. Mine used to do it when I had pushed down on the throttle really hard and accelerated really fast and it would just cut off. After this I just started to use startron, 0 ethanol gas, and let my motor run for a couple minutes before leaving the ramp. Even though I might not have found the correct problem, my motor had no problem afterwards and I’m fine with that!
I will definitely try letting I warm up a little. I put in at the IOP and it was a very short idle before opening her up. Mine hasn’t cut off yet, I just hesitates for about 5 seconds then revs up and takes off. I thought it might have been a fuel related issue but guess it would happen every time. I also use ethanol free gas and put quickleen and blue stabil in every tank. Thanks again for the help

dont use blue stabil if you are using ethanol free fuel
the blue is for ethanol
red is for non ethanol
it may be a stickky linkage issue
call me, when its convenient, and ill look at for you
Thanks Chris, will do. I was going to switch to red as soon as this bottle ran out. I didnt want to waste it. Is there a problem using the blue with ethanol free? Will switch to red immediately if that is the case.

i dont know of any issue using blue with non ethanol, but i dont think its doing anygood
the ethanol formulas use an enzyme to prevent bacterial growth, and if you dont have ethanol, you dont need enzyme
