Are there any beaches that we can boat to for a family beach and picnic near Bohicket Marina?

yes…folks usually go to Botany Island…or the end of Seabrook where Privateer creek comes out. Botany Island does have turtle nest though so you have to obey the signs. Also Deveaux’s Bank is a spot to go…just can’t have a dog on the beach or go past the signs.

Deveaux’s Bank is really nice. Other than the birds, it is quiet and peaceful. There is a nice little lagoon on the south side that is great for kids to wade/swim in. Go slow, sandbars all around.

thanks guys. Are dogs allowed on Botany. Asking because of turtle nests; I don’t think my dog would disturb them but wondering if there is a prohibition.

Deveaux Bank is a state heritage preserve and is closed to pedestrians right now due to seabird nesting. At least half of it is. You can access the Seabrook Is side.
