FOR THE RECORD:
12 ADDITIONAL BOATS WEIGHED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6pm-7pm
THERE WERE NO PROTESTS REPORTED THE DAY OF THE DOLPHIN SLAM
WE CLARIFIED THE SCALES OPEN 3pm-7pm IN THE CAPTAIN’S MEETING
IT WAS COMMUNICATED ON CHANNEL 72 THAT SCALES WERE OPEN FROM 3pm-7pm
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THOSE FISHING DOLPHIN SLAM NEXT YEAR:
Captain's meeting will still be optional BUT if you pay to fish a tournament it should be YOUR PRIORITY to have a member of YOUR TEAM in attendance!
All Teams planning to FISH from Bohicket OR planning to Come In By Boat
Didn’t see any mention of departure time in the rules just lines in at 0700. Can depart from any location at any time? No sea buoy limit till said time just no lines in water before 0700 correct?
Attention All Anglers! We are looking for Sponsors for JUST the Dolphin Slam! Please Contact me if interested!

I sent over an email to fall’s email addy about some other stuff earlier this week. Or should i just give you a ring on one of these numbers?
LOL…no problem I understand 100%. How many boats we sitting at? As long as the weather is looking good on Wed I plan on getting signed up as well. Thanks for the reply.
Great tournament but you can’t make up the rules as you go along. The rule Sheet clearly stated the scales we’re open from 3pm until 6pm. The winning fish showed up at the fuel dock at 645 as we were all watching.

What did the officials have to say about that? Surely someone brought it to their attention just in case they weren’t paying attention to the clock?
The rules stated 6pm the other day. In the capts meeting someone said lets do 7. They guys said the rules say 6 and 6 it is. They said you have to be in line at the scale by 6 as well. I was just talking to Robert on another forum. We passed him around 530 as we rolled out from the dock. They were right behind the Huk Freeman. They were there in time. I been told they were held off the dock and the dock hands wouldn’t let them dock up as they fueled boats and did whatever else. I can tell you the docking was a cluster. I got sent down to the H dock and there was only 2 spots left and that was at 3pm. 86 boats in a tournament where the hell everyone that didn’t rent a dock for the weekend supposed to dock at? Good luck to everyone in the top 4 with this one. I fished a whole day not even know if the tournament was going on. Couldn’t get the committee boat on the radio, didn’t hear a small craft advisory yet the guys on the radio were all as clue less as was I.
