Going weds morning abd I have never been… I’ve done a lot of dog driving but never there. Is there anyting I should be aware of before getting there and getting surprised??? Thanks in advance!!

I know they had a hunt a month or so ago and killed like 80 somethign deer qand 50 something pigs

There were 96 deer killed last on last wednesdays drive…the area between Barnwell Barricade and L pond.
sorry for the late report but it was awesome!! Haz you are right about not leaving your stand lol also do not shoot before or after shooting hours! I was dropped off at my stand and after the next man was dropped off i heard some movement. Shortly after that a giant 8 point trots across the road,a monster prob 130-140 inch deer but it was 7:37 so not even close enough to take a chance. @ minutes later a small 8 point comes out. After all that I had buck fever lol. They turned dogs out at 8 o’clock sharp and it was on!! I had dog races in frony of me,behind me and to both sides!! Had a small buck and a doe come from behind me but they were out of range then a doe stuck her head out so I waited and another 8 point came out behind her!! I shot 3 times and missed 
I was so shook up from buck fever I couldnt shoot…or thats my story anyway lol sat there quite for a little while when another 8 point crosses from the other side on the same trail. I shot 3 times at him as well and it sounded like he fell so i thought he would die…then a dog not barking crosses the road and shortly after that i hear the deer get up and take off.never found any blood to trail so total for the day was missied 2 8 points saw 4 8 points another smaller buck and 2 does… Great day in my book just to be there much less have the oppurtunity to get to shoot!! I think there were 50 deer killed,2 big deer and 6 hogs 1 was 240# boar with nice tusk and 2 coyotes. Great time if ya ever get the chance to go GO!!
