Headed towards the 380 hole today. Made it across the ledge about 15 miles from the hole and there were flyers everywhere. So we dropped lines to see what may be feeding. The water didn’t look great, very green, but there was so much bait. We picked at a few small dolphin and hooked into a white. We lost the marlin after a good fight and continued trolling towards the hole. Hit 400 ft and ran up on the fleet trolling a good green/blue color change with a thin weed line. We picked up several nice dolphin much better size that the ones we picked up shallow. Kept 15 and headed to the hill.
It was great day on the water, despite a bumpy ride out. Good job to the crew! Hopefully we will pull that White along the boat next time.
