Anyone seen any bonito around Kiawah, Edisto,40,60 or nearshore reefs. Trying to go Monday if seas allow 22’ bay boat.Thanks.

How did you do. I went out to our 65 ft. reef last week and it was like glass. We only managed a few small snapper and a few keeper sea bass. There were some Spanish Mackerel around.

Didn’t go, gonna try in the morning. Hope to find the Spanish or anything on top,and do some bottom fishing after the sun’s up high.Thanks for your report.

At Edisto 40 yesterday, 4/12, briefly before moving out to deeper water.
Did not troll but cast jigs. Bluefish and bonito (Atlantic bonito, not false albacore) but did not see any Spanish mackerel.
Water temp 64, still cool.
