Anyone tried this stuff? I ordered a gallon today…
On/Off works with a bit of scrubbing, what do you use to clean you’re hull?

Keep your trailer constantly wet while you use this stuff-it will leave off color marks on the trailer. But simply apply it on by rag or brush (it will eat away at the bristles) and let it sit for a few minutes. Then thoroughly rinse off

Rubber is fine, same as stainless steel. Aluminum (like trailers) seem to be the only thing affected. As well as bottom paint-that’ll leave streaks in bottom paint as well

Update - Got the Booyah non acid instant hull cleaner today…
Don’t waste your money on this stuff. Spayed on hull used a towel with plenty elbow grease and no difference at all… 52.00 wasted
Will try Idratherbefishing’s recommendation now

My hull is white/off white and shines because I’ve buffed it and keep it inside. When it stains, I use Bar Keepers Friend to get the stain out. I wet the boat, and apply the powder to a wet cloth and lightly rub on hull. Let it do it’s thing for 5 minutes, and wipe like you would your car when washing. It is an abrasive, so not too much elbow grease! Works great on non skid. Got the last batch at Dollar General for less than $2.

Huh … I use this stuff all the time and it works great … No damage to any part of my boat … That said, my boat stays 95% of the time in fresh water … Takes 4 month old muck stains off with little to no effort … Spray it on - wait 2-3 minutes - hose off … very minimal work

there is a product called hull cleaner in wally world. it is in blue plastic bottle. cost is around $9. i spray it on and in minutes the stains disappear. been using it for a couple years. just wash off of the trailor as soon as you can. good stuff for the dollars.
That’s what I’m using right now Bobby. Has an Attwood label I believe. It works great but, I like $1 a bottle better.

I’m with coolbreeze, used that on my other boat. I even diluted it with water in a sprayer, started in the back on one side of the motor, went all the way around back to the motor. When I looked where I started no stains, no scrubbing, grabbed the the hose and rinsed it off. It’s also biodegradable
This was best stuff ever, I could spray it on full strength & it would take off anything without scrubbing. I can’t find it any longer & read they have quit making it.
It probably caused testicular cancer in laboratory rats or someone drank it so they had to stop making it.

Buy this and mix it 8% to a gallon of water. 10 lbs costs $26 dollars and will make multiple gallons at 8% concentration. Thats 10 oz of the oxilic acid per gallon of water so a 10lb bag will make 16 gallons of the 8% mix. It will work as effectively as any name brand hull cleaner as they contain approx 8% oxalic acid as the active ingredient. I put a little Dawn (1/2 cup) in each gallon to act as a surfactant to wet out what I’m cleaning.
I ended up getting the 10.00 bottle from Walmart, worked great and will use it in the future. I just got this boat about a month ago and the stains were already there. I wouldn’t have ever let it get like that but now I can keep it clean. Just gotta find a good wax now.
Thanks for all the suggestions fellas
