that fish looks stressed and the dog looks miserable

Because he had to set the pose and take 50 gazillon shots, till the one is just right.

At 8.6 fps, getting the perfect shot isn’t that difficult anymore. The fish was out of the water probably 15 seconds.

Nice pictures what kind of camera do you have?

It would help the put the fish on a wet towel vs dry. That dry towel can’t be good for his slime coat.

Hold your breath when you take a fish out of water and don’t take the next breath until he’s back. That’ll speed up the posing and picture taking.

He’s a Lakeland terrier. Same coloring as Airdales, only in a smaller package

Terriers are pretty smart actually. Stubborn and get bored easily if they aren’t exercised enough, but very smart. Boscoe learned to sit, stay, and shake in a day.
