Had some new bottom numbers to check out so with a well full of nice size pogies we headed out to the first spot in 70 ft. Marked good bottom immediately and we thought it was game on as the first fish over the rail was a gag (although he was short). Unfortunately that was the best fish on that spot since we pulled in 3 foot sharks for the next hour. Pushed out to 90 feet to try the second spot. Didn’t see anything promising on the sounder so put out two pogies to troll around while we looked. Hooked up to what looked like a king in the 28-30 lb range but he pulled the hook at the boat. Shortly after we found the bottom we were looking for and hauled up a 3 man limit of beeliners and sea bass. You know the bass were big when they were trying to eat your grouper baits. Also vented and released two of the fish that shall not be reported or photographed (thanks SAFMC! 
). Had a Jaws moment as I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and looked up to see a 10 foot tiger eyeing me with 3 nice cobia in tow. He did a slow pass and that was all I saw of him. Back on the hill by 3.
