Had an awesome day on the ocean with Overdraft 225 and Dandy Randy on Lake Atlantic. Couldn’t have asked for a better day and the fish cooperated too!

Got on a hot scamp bite. Boxed all 5 within 30 minutes… then started working over the triggers, jumbo seabass, and football vermillions.

Can’t believe it’s December… Tried for gags but couldn’t get dialed in on depth or get past the hoards of mini seabass in shallow.

Glad we were finally able to get back out and couldn’t have asked for a better day in December… Was hard to believe we were pulling fish in the boat, sweating, and listening to Christmas music on the radio!! Good times and great crew can’t wait to do it again…

Did you jig all those triggers or were you using live/cut bait also? How deep? Thanks!

Most triggers were caught on squid/cut bait, but did catch some on the jigs as well!!

I have stayed away from this section because I knew I would see reports like this. Our boat has been getting crap done in November/December that should have been done in January. They called for this El Nino for months, but the head honcho in my group insisted we start early on the winter work. Great job. …Really nice box…Excuse me while I puke.
