Well pulled the trigger and off we went this morning .Seas where flat ran wide open 51 mph out . In hundred foot in less then 40 mins ! Was cold but worth it . Had good friend who has a new key west center console with simrad gps and sounder and wanted to be schooled in how to find live bottom and fish using it . So I said sure I’ll show you what to look for . Make a long story short we got on some fish and he got schooled on electronics . He could not believe it when I called out drop and what fish he would catch because of color and depth made a believer out of him . Oh water temp surface 30 miles out was 52!degrees and bait fish everywhere so get out and catch some fish . Vermillion where hogs 17 to 18 inch and bsb where also hogs getting into 17 plus sizes. Some of biggest I’ve seen in a while also found some new dove sights can’t wait to get to this spring for gags .
