hit the chs 60 and some live bottom a little further south 4man limit of BSB all nice size threw back alot of keepers of 14-15 inches. got a couple of big white grunts and a knobbed porgy. couldn’t find any vermillions or grouper not sure what I was doing wrong maybe not deep enough? we were in 60-75 ft of H2o. Also was a job trying to get our BSB away from all the sharks that kept stealing our rigs. Oh well good day although it was a little rougher than predicted…Imagine that! Until next time catch um up…MIke
We were out past the Edisto Offshore and managed to keep 8 really nice BSB’s caught over a live bottem. Also caught a few vermillion(undersize), some small ring tails, and a couple of grunts. Water temp was low 80’s in roughly 85ft of water. We didnt have a problem with the sharks but did run into a couple cudas. And yeah it was a little rougher than predicted on the way in. Tony
nice glad you got some fish and got back safely
the same goes for you and your crew
You weren’t deep enough. We fished 90’ Saturday and caught all the vermillions you wanted. We had to move to find some sea bass.
We were in 100 - 110’ on Tuesday and were throwing small keeper Vermillions back because we were catching big keepers.
