Steve(the rod and reel repair guy) and some buddies went out on a bottom fishing adventure with Capt. Mark Brown of the Teaser. They had an excellent day of fishing with beautiful weather. Seas being only 2feet at most with little wind. They caught tons of fish including vermilion snapper, black sea bass, silver snapper, ring tail chubbs, porgies, triggers, ajs, genuine reds, a shark, and a nice 4# flounder. They went out to 100feet of water and dropped lines. They caught fish on cigar minnows, squid, butterfly jigs(the green holographic color) and the new lucanus jig(yellow). They had an awesome day with a great captain and crew! Thanks again to Capt. Mark and Jerry for a fine day on the water! It will be a day to remember!

Mark Brown is the man. Not only is he an awesome captain, but he is good people too. I’ve fished with Mark in the past and it was probably one of my most enjoyable trips to date. He won’t be in the business forever, so it’s highly advised to get a few trips with him while you still can!
Aw come on... I left a few little ones down there for him. He should have tried the sabiki. We've caught 5-6 little gags on the sabiki over the past couple of trips.
Negative. But with the NFMS\NOAA\SAFMC stealing away our fishing rights, it becomes tougher and tougher for guys like him to make a living! They can already be blamed for shutting down the T-star and I had been meaning to hop on with those guys for a couple of years now just for the fun of it.
