Bottom fishing Today 3/14

Ran out of Bohicket this morning for a quick bottom trip. Really just to getting out to goof around and shake the boat down a little. Started on a BSB spot we have in about 60 feet and picked at them for a few hours. Bottom machine was giving us fits, something seems to be wrong with the NMEA box so couldn’t hold bottom. BSB were slow maybe 6-8 keepers. Ran out to 90 feet and picked up some b-liners. Tons of Red Porgy and all the ARS you wanted to toss back. Biggest ARS was 27 in the scale and quite a few fish over 20 pounds. Water was 55 in 90 feet. Nice ocean out and back.

Maybe I was looking at the temp when we were in 60 feet. Reading a few more report 55 seems cold for this morning. Or maybe that’s also having issues along with the bottom lock.
