Bottom Paint

What’s everyone’s recommendation for the best anti-fouling paint? Salt water (brackish) docking, use 3 days week for 8 hours per day with lots of idling. Tide runs hard thru slip area. White composite hull. THANKS!

VC Offshore is what I always used, my boat was in a low current marina, and the diver cleaning the hull didn’t have to scrub much.

Interlux Pacifica. Non-copper, environmental friendly. No corrosion to other metals that copper based bottom paint causes. Has slime control for waterline stains/growth. There are other “generic” bottom paints avail now that the patent on Econca has expired. See Jamestown Distributers. Works for me in Cape May, NJ & Georgetown (I split the summer, both locations, winter in Georgetown).

Thanks for the input. I wanted to try a white on white after using black on previous white hull boat. Read fairly good reviews on Pettit Vivid 1161Q. It’s a little pricey but it may hold more than 1 season. Thanks again.

yep, if you want white, petit vivid is the only thing we use

Micron CSC and Sea Hawk are both good.

I second the Vivid, I’ve been very happy with all Pettit paints.
