Bow Cushioin Fabricator

Hey All,

Okay, it’s time. The bow of my boat is a fish box. I’ve got nothing up there for my family or friends to sit on other than two loose NASCAR track seat cushions. They are not working anymore. I need to have a bow cushion made up.

I was wondering if any of you could recommend an upholster or a shop to get one for the boat. Looking for one that I can snap down to hold it in place, but be able to remove it for the days when I’m offshore and need to fill that box with fish!!

There are only two that I would suggest. Bendt Brothers upholstery on Sam Rittenburg but they are expensive. or Kermit’s Upholstery in the Livinston complex on Rivers near train station, he’s very reasonable

One of those companies are indeed crazy expensive. Try ebay, maybe you can find some factory cushions. Probably a long shot but give it a whirl.

Wallygator, how do you like your Simmons?

WStrickland…I love it. Been wanting one for 30 years finally found one under $10k. actually below $2k. It rides sooooo smooth, goes thru waves like butter. Just pulled out two pedastal seats and crappy console and with a friend (Bill Hunt) built a steering arm (old school Simmons way of of doing it) and bench seat with storage under it. Buying some fishing rods next week. Now all I need is someone to mentor me about inshore fishing. Any takers??? I’ll provide the boat and the gas…just need someone to share their knowledge.
