Does anyone on here have one on a center console? I have a 4 year old and don’t have a t-top or bimini. Just trying to keep her out of the sun. I was thinking of rigging one up myself with canvas and PVC or tentpoles. Yes, the ol’ standby. Just thinking on how to support it above the grabrail for airflow purposes, but low enough to see over. Not thinking of WOT, but cruising speed durability. Any ideas or pointers?
You might have already thought of this but, don’t forget that you need to be able to drop the anchor. So, the dodger has to have a hole or window in front.
Anchoring via the bow is accomplished by using a “traveler line” up under the gunwale on the outside and a caribiner type clip, never have to leave wheel to deploy or retrieve anchor.

TyOneOn- Thats similar to what i was thinking. If I mount it to the top of my grabrail, I will be able to slide the anchor btw the bow and rail. That same idea, just picked up 12". Won’t help much in a driving rain (mabye drop down flaps, Hmmm), really just looking for a sunshade
T2B1- [:0] A little over-the-top. Just slightly.
Im trying to design it on the basis of a tent so i can keep it in a bag. I’ll post some pics/prices when i’m done.

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>I want a bow dodger but, I want a full one that will fold down. BUT, the one I posted is pretty cool looking. The lower it is, the less wind you have to deal with. Plus, you might be able to build it yourself. Good luck. Ty
