bow hunting a circular food plot

Do any of y’all bowhunt on food plots ? I went and found a spot the other day where four trails were emptying out in to a food plot that has been there for a long time but has never been hunted but was planted last year , it is on a club road that has some ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ traffic but its minimal during season … I was thinking about putting my bow stand in this spot I have an oak tree in mind that provides the cover that I feel I need …my question is what would be a good seed combination to put in this food plot … And should I plant something tall out by the road to provide cover and if so what should it be , we do have tractors so what ever y’all suggest we should be able to get it into the ground …

Thanks in advance

Iron clay peas or purple topped turnips. Turnips last longer though.

G. perry pickering

I use magic carpet and plain ole soybeans in my bow food plots

" It is what it is".

I use a mixture of clover, purple top turnips, wheat, rye and soy beans. they will probably eat the soy bean plants out first. rye along the road side will provide cover. the sometimes traffic will not hurt, unless you are there and trying to hunt, I have seen deer on several occasions follow a four wheeler off to the side and maybe a 100 yards back, just keep an eye out. good luck
