I don’t have a good place to put rods in the bow of my boat when bottom fishing. I have a seat mounting hole that I don’t really use, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for rod holder racks that can be mounted there. I’ve looked at he “spider rigging” style and most of those either hold the rod horizontally, or mount to a seat.

you could clamp a 2x6 across the front and put screw-in holders across the board, I’ve done that for crappie spider rigs

X2!!! Simplest most efficient rod holders… Bar none. You would have to mounting blocks to your gunnel. The blocks are pretty small though.
