Hoppy, use your imagination. It’s wide enough to stand on and cast or spot fish. It doubles as a seat when carrying guests and the trolling motor is a stick steer and easier to use when just bumping the boat a tad here and there when sitting above the deck. I used it saturday and it does what I intended it to do. Plus, not one single hole drilled in my boat. Main thing it does, “makes me happy”.
It’s like I tell all my customers, “It’s all personal preference, what YOU want for your boat, and what makes YOU happy.”
