last w/e I spotted a flats boat with a 4-legged stool/seat held down by a turn-buckle on the bow to sit while running the T-motor and fishing and it looks ideal for my boat. I can’t find any info or price on this. Can anyone help me out?
That was probably a casting platform. I can build one for you. I’ll send you a email, Hopefully with a picture.(edited to say I can’t send a picture through this email. Send me your email addy and I’ll send you pictures.)

Birdsall and Bluepoint are second to none.
Would’nt a pedistal seat be much better for the bow? then you can remove the pedistal when running from spot to spot.

tigweld,
I don’t want to start a pissing match. I am familiar with both companies. And they both do excellent work.
I was welding anodized aluminum pipe before Bluepoint Fabrication was even in business. I was taught by one of the best from Pipe Welders out of Cape May, New Jersey, back in '85. But that is not my point.
All I said was I could beat their prices and my construction and quality matches their’s. And I stand behind that 100%.

just to set some points straight. I looked at all the websites suggsted and could not find a single one that had a application to fit my boat with the way my TM sits. a few quick emails to Bob, and some pics of my boat, he came back with exactly what I was looking for. I saw prices as high as $599 for something that would not work for me. Bob is custom building what I want and the price is great. Once I get it and it is installed, I will share the photos.
forgot to mention. I don’t want to be drilling holes for a mounting plate that will be permanent on the boat and a seat like that is not needed. call me a fool, but I bet when my platform is installed and seen. Bob is getting more business. my turn buckle will mount to an existing cleat.
got my platform from Bob today. it is sweet and exactly what I wanted. I hope he posts the pics I sent. You have to see it
