We were having a slow day trolling the ledge, we had taken a couple of small dolphins and a small king when that wonderful zing of the drag came to life, after a 45 min workout we were able to land this 90 lb 2 oz wahoo, and i mean WAAHOOO, it is funny how one fish (a really big fish) can turn a slow day into the most exciting day you can remember, this does not happen too often to me so yes i am bragging about it, it was a team effort to get this puppy in the boat , what a day, i hope to have some more pics later, this one was taken with a blackberry phone, the tail of the fish is tied to the t top
that pic really does not do justice to the size of the fish, i am 6 ft 5 in tall and i weigh 260 lbs, i am going to post some more as soon as my buddy send them to me
Actually this contender does have a bimini top attached to the bow of the boat, it comes in handy when bottom fishing or just hanging out at the sandbar on sat. it folds down out of the way, however i should have said the wahoo was tied to the t top, and i am still waiting on tim to send his pics , on his pics the wahoo is hanging off the boat beside of him , 90 lbs 2 oz, and a full freezer
here is a pic of the contender with the bimini top on the bow, it works nice
that looks about right, if you compare one to the other i would guess yours was about 70, i am getting another pic of the fish with my buddy standing beside it, if you look at my pic you can see the tail of the fish is pulled backwards making it look shorter, have faith , i have no reason or interest in lying about the weight of a fish, i am not in a contest,i have nothing to prove i am trying to post that pic now, same fish ,same boat differant angle, I told you I am a big man, this one shows how long and how big the wahoo was
