Fished in the 4s. Started in 320’ on the 410 and midgiemullet caught a sail right off the rip. Turned around and caught a small shark. Not much more to it, so we headed offshore but caught nothing but weeds. Found the edge in 380’ and it looked good. Caught a few mauis. Sammiches no big bull headed trophy fish. Caught a blackfin fry. Thee pirate considered eating him whole but instead sent him to freedom. Had a wahoo charge up and cut off the flat. I prospected the bridge pole and he ate that too but did not find the hook. Picked up and ran back in to the ledge. As soon as we had lines in the water thee pirate captured another lost sailfish. Not much else to it. Stopped and bottom fished on the ledge. Gasmoney angled a scampzilla. Thee pirate caught a trigger that he said could eat one of sellsfish’s dinner plates for breakfast. Something about yours is a munchkin and mine could feed a whole luncheon. Also caught a bucketful of footballs. The billfish bite was going on in the 100s. They crushed them. We ran over 0 bait all day. Hopefully some will move in and we can hold some fish.
