BRAINSTORM 4/27

today was a new day. fished to the north on a slick calm ocean. we taunted yesterdays fate and brought 4 trophy flase blackfins to the boat. unfortunately we could not find the little tunny, hee-ha’s, cudas, nor the elusive mercury macks. finished the day with 11 blackfins and 19 maui wowies in the bote. mauis were mostly 10lbs, with a couple in the mid 20s. great day on the new bote. still excited for the day when i get to enjoy the modern marvels of GPS and sonar up top. shook a few little ones off at the boat to swim another day and shared a few with the hard working dock folks at our fine deep water marina. nice weekend of fishing.

Man,that’s a nice load of fish.I like seeing all the carcases showing up at the dock.Did y’all have any problems with the dredge before daylight?

We were able to slide over the dredge w/o any excitement since we caught it two weeks ago. It will be a real let down when the dredge is gone we don’t have to pucker up every morning. its kind of like the feeling when you’re doing 95 on 526 and you see that cop hiding at the base of the wando bridge.

LOL,I had to "shoot" it in my bayboat the other day to get back in.I told the Fishin" Mission owners that I wouldn't drive before daylight if they didn't sink the pipe overnight.Kevin says they will be done by May 15th and shouldn't be working the next 2 weekends.Wave at us on "f" dock sometime.

Good day full of tight lines and stink in the gloo. The cajun commander did manage to scale a daymaker stripey.

Thanks for the trip Daniel. Had a great time.

Nice report fellas!

Good stuff PQ. John got a big kick out of watching his head shot.

S4G - shhhh! that is our secret weapon. No need to fish chartruese lures w/ the high vis. Its basically like pre-pro-rigging (PPR) all of your plugs.

Dude I love you, but sooner or later, you’re going to have to realize the fact that you’re a ■■■■ moron.

23Sailfish is a douche bag…internetly speaking.

LR - you’ll have to ask PQ about the Barts. It was an epic day and I’m glad the crew got to experience what kind of fishing Charleston is capable of produceing. My arms are almost back to normal- thanks for the trip CD- looking forward to the first billfish…
