Fished Friday and Saturday. Beautiful days on the ocean. Ran all over the ocean looking for a billfish on Saturday. Pulled off a white and then missed him again going away in 300 feet on the 400. Marked some bait deep in that area. Fished out in the deep on a beautiful rip. Caught a few mauis and watched the Wendy Ann catch a blue marlin in about 1300 feet around the 350. Caught a sail on a baitball we marked on the way home in 180 feet around the 300.
Sunday ran out to the rip and stayed on it all day. Fished in the high 300s. Installed the GoPro off the tower. Fantastic footage. It will be fun to brainstorm back on a blue marlin with the vid rolling. Ended the day with 29 mauis. Mix of gaffers and slingers.
