BRAINSTORM 5.6.09

Ran all over the ocean today. Sporty on the way out. Really wanted to run to the north and chase the skinneefinned tunas and the skinneehoos, but instead ran way out past the 380. No current edge. Ran back in to 400’ and found some decent fishing. Didn’t bring enough baits, so quit maui fishing when we were down to one pack. Ran up to the north. Green warm water with no life. Caught two more mauis and one donkey. Ocean layed down and made for a great ride in. Ended up with 32 keepers and a release. Biggest 32lbs.

Are you sure that you aren’t a charter captain. You sure do seem to fish a lot…

Great fishing carla dee.

Swamp fox I thought homewaters was all about conservation?? Am I missing something??

Jason I just want to be a charter cap when I grow up. For now we will have to limit it to the googan free trips as I don’t want to spend one of my few days offshore with a bunch of kooks. If you are certified googan and kook free than you are clear to charter the boat.

What do I qualify as, Koogan?

There goes the neighborhood!

Open - we are. That doesn’t mean not killing fish. Just gotta have the right rules to play by. Did you read Don’s last report? Our dolphin fishery is in great shape.
