BRAINSTORM 7.19.09

Fished in the 5s on a nice ocean from 220 to 265’. We were able to get 3 folks their first billfish. Darl, who hooked 3 himself, Kelly, who caught 2, and Andrew, my nephew who has been battling leukemia (and kicking leukemia’s tail). Had a lot of shots at sailfish and ended up with 7 out of 14. Saw lots more. alex was able to trick 2 and catch 1 with his new ultralight technique.

Had a blast with the HOMEWATERS krewe and such celebrities as skinnee, alex, theo, jason, jimmy, darl, kelly, and andrew. also got cut off by 3 wahoos and caught 3 mauis. hopefully we can get back out there later this week.
