Fished yesterday to the south. Fished in 50 fathoms most of the day. Had a decent wahoo bite in the morning, but couldn’t stay tight. Missed two and we were cut off by another. The weed was terrible. Not much bait. Birds were around, but only mammals under them. Caught a 50lb wahoo in the afternoon and had several other mystery bites. A few sails were seen, a few less caught. Hopefully it will turn on after the blow. Forecast was blown. Sporty in the morning and a lot of cotton in the afternoon.

How many fathoms are in a foot? I never learned metric. And can I go that deep in a 21’ bayboat if I pick my days?

Just be glad you weren’t in the harbor, I heard the pilot boats were throwing 10’ wakes all day.
