I use to defrost / brine my bait in a 5 gallon bucket. Saw a video on u-tube to take ballyhoo and place in a cheap tin tray ,put them upside down cover them in table salt, put in refer overnight. ( put mine in plastic bags wife would have a fit ). For me this is a new way to brine the bait, I was surprised how tough they were and the belly’s stayed intact.
