I’ll give you a big ole piece of free advice that I mean sincerely…
The absolutely BEST thing you can do when fishing offshore for those that don’t live on the coast with LOTS of time to pick and choose their outings is to charter… If you add up all the cost, it is well worth it…

It is a fact that you do not have insurance on a sport fish vessel if NOAA issues small craft warnings. I respect a captain that is not afraid to call off a trip. I did any time I felt it wasn’t safe.

Charter boats take debit cards and cash… All you need to book is a phone number, and a down payment with a prepaid debit card…
Next charter I book with a new boat I’ll tell them I’m Carl E. Griffin Jr. from Mt Pleasant, and give them your public info to send the bill…
Liar. They freely post pics on line. There is no expectation of privacy on a boat full of people with camera phones. Or on a public dock. Coward as usual
They don’t post without permission, and I always charter private with friends… Geez, it’s only around $3,000 with tips etc…, It’s gone up some but well worth it if you’re not broke…
