Heading down this weekend to get some fishing in and celebrate my birthday.
I hear the boats are there but the Cobia haven’t showed up yet.
Anyone got a report?

They are there - so is the bait.
I was there on Monday - hooked 3… but Murphys law was strong that day. One on a frozen pogie head, two on live greenies. 24" to huge. I got the 24" to the boat, the others managed to get off. The 24" was joined by a monster - I tried with everything I had to catch the it, with no luck. It was a true monster.
I saw 3 others get caught.
I’ve never tried for cobia there. Whats the typical strategy? Sight fish, drift, anchor and chum?
