Broad river fishing

Hi I was wondering if anybody had any Info about fishing on the broad river from above the canal dam upstream to the first set of rapids. Thanks

Are you talking about fishing from the bank or from a boat? I’ve only fished that stretch of river a couple times and I was in a boat. You should be able to find smallies in the riffles around the islands. I just find I have easier access in other areas of the Broad.

From kayak, is there a good catfish bite up there?

I’ve never catfished up there, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be good.
