Broke in the new reel.

Went out this evening and caught a couple reds. 26" and 30". Got to brake in the new Penn battle 2 3000. Caught on finger mullet at the front end if the incoming tide.

Wow Rob, nice way to break it in. Reel work okay for you? Curious as to the difference between the Battle and the Battle II.

Nice fish and nice reel! Is that the new graphite ugly stick you have there? If so, I picked one up about 2 months ago and LOVE it so far. Congrats!

Kayak fish, usually Wando or creeks off the ICW north of Chas Harbor. Sometimes surf fish (mainly SI).

Got mine from there as well. Hope you enjoy it. The guys at Haddrell’s told me to try Spiderwire braid. it’s been great so far
