Flatscater and I headed up to ply some different waters for a few days. Good times were had, great food was eaten, and we have the pics to prove it…
Fresh brookies and rainbows breaded in cornmeal, fried in bacon grease and maple syrup, served hot with fried potatoes, rice, and spicy black beans cooked in onions… mmmmmmmmmm
Pancakes cooked in the bacon grease/maple combo, topped with apple butter… mmmmmmmm
Onion and peanut butter sandwiches… mmmmmmmmm
(a weird combo, but it’s tasty)
Fried spam and applebutter sandwiches… mmmmmmmmm
Time spent with a great friend, great food, and fiesty trout… priceless
Thanks jerms, now I really hate my life. Sorry I didn’t make it up there but I’m glad y’all had a good time. Maybe next trip…May, perhaps?
Going to go during lunch tomorrow if the weather and the clients holds.

My friend and I plan on going at the end of this month to the Chattooga River with my sons for a weekend of camping and fishing. I haven’t fished for trout in a year (Moved down from Michigan in June), so I’m really looking forward to some Dry Fly opportunities
Great pictures. Brought back a lot of memories of annual trips to central Pennsylvania camping on streams. For breakfast, bet the stove ready, catch the trout and eat along the stream.
