My honey hole to ease the pain of my hometown teams letting me down.I survived 49 yrs so far and hope browns at least get into Super Bowl before I die. Told the wife to find some browns players as pall bearers so they can let me down one last time.back to fishing, no hits on cut mullet, no hits on mud minnows, caught some 5 and 6" mullett and they nailed them.I believe big fish are getting fat on big bait for winter?

Exactly…moving to Charleston is one of the best things I have decided to do in my life…I mean after marrying my wife (cough cough) lol. Wish people were a little more accepting of us Ohioans.

Ya I. Would have to agree, I’ve had people give me alot of grief about Ohio but that’s ok.but I’ve met just as many really cool people here.i find myself getting mad sometimes when you go to the beach and all parking spots full with half of the plates ohio…lol…
This is my thing with Ohio. My Dad’s side of the family is from Columbus, OH. My grandad always talks about how great Ohio is. He was in the Naval Submarine service in WW2 and retired in Charleston. He moved to Marion, NC in the 1980’s. He is a huge Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio St fan. It’s Ohio this , Ohio that. My question to all Ohio people…Why do you stay down here yet talk about how great Ohio is? It makes no sense? Why did my Grandad not move back when he retired? Must not be so great after all? I have no problem with anyone moving here. Just dont live here 30+ years and talk about how much better another place is. You can go back, you know !

Im going to take the high road here with politics but I will say where you live really does not determine your political beliefs. Again im just happy to be here in SC and be able to fish these waters with some really great people.

The funny thing to me is the fools that originally wanted to post something they beleived to be funny havent said a word since on this tread. It doesn’t matter where you are from. We surely don’t hate on southerners when you are in Ohio. We expect the same here. Please stop trying to give little digs hiding behind the keyboard. Give it up already, we are all in this fishing community for the same reason. A passion to fish and be on the water. I am engaged to a women from right here born and raised in charleston. Have fished with her daddy many times and know the waters here really well. We love it here and hope to enjoy the area for a long time to come. Golden rule fellas. Tight Lines to everyone.
