Browns on the Provo

Was in Phoenix for training and had a few days off, so decided to head up to UT for a bit of fishing. Weather was good although was hoping for a bit of cloud cover to help with a caddis hatch. Still ending up landing about 6 browns in the 10 to 15 inch range and one about 17 to 18. Will post some pictures when I can.

What is chiefly needed is skill rather than machinery.

very nice. can’t wait for the pix.

“Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.” ~Chuck Clark

That used to be the river that was out my door. If you fish it below the Jordenel you can expect some pig browns. Below Deer Creek gets to much pressure for my liking. If you go back try the Weber (pronounced weeber) river above I-84 and I-80. Also look around the Strawberry area. Good to know its still fishing well.
