CaptDan, J Bean and Co. headed out this am expecting fairly calm seas. WRONG! Choppy as hell so we went to the nearshore to see if it would lay down. Caught a bunch of bluefish and a weakfish. Got tired of that and made our way out to 60’. Fishing was slow to say the least until we found a good little piece of bottom. Ended up with a good many bsb’s as fast as we could reel em in. Even caught a little grouper. Finally layed down for the ride home. Not where we planned to go, but no complaints.
choppy day or not i would take those meals in a heart beat on a good or bad weather day. congrats to you.
may your rods be bent and your coolers full.
