Fish, that is correct as of last I am aware of. The talk is they are going to go to 13" on the size, but has not been official yet (unless someone has seen something I have not recently). The commercial season has been delayed to July 1 I believe, but the Rec side is still the same last I know. Hope this helps! gonna be some big BSB’s the next couple weeks!
Are they going to have the 15 fish limit or whatever it was last year for the first week or two of the season this year?

Just a few issues related to Black Sea Bass:
Recreational and commercial fishermen are required to use dehooking tools when fishing for snapper grouper species. The use of non-stainless steel circle hooks (offset or non-offset) is required for all species in the snapper grouper complex when using hook-and-line gear with natural baits in waters north of 28 degrees N. latitude.
the minimum size limit will increase from 12 Total Length (TL) to 13 TL
BSB Fishery reopens June 1, 2012 with a bag limit of 5 per person/day.

Use the 12" fish for bait lol there is some seriously nice bsb out there i wouldnt keep one under 18" were catchin plenty of 20-23" fish.
