Hey ya’ll, I’m headed out to do some btb (beyond the breakers) fishing Fridaym orning tillunch or so. Planning on trolling for a bit to see what I can catch and then anchoring up and catching some toothies. If anyone wants to join me just let me know.

How was your BTB trip?
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go. Had some family stuff come up, so I took the kiddos to the beach for a night trip. We had some fun, though. Kids caught some baby sharpnoses and whiting then the big sharpnoses showed up for some excitement on the bait rods. I have to work this weekend so hopefully I can try again in a couple of weeks. I’ll post up for the next try. Also, elgeebee, how do you like that Jackson cuda. I’m looking to upgrade by this time next year and the cuda is on my shortlist.
I had a Cuda, but then discovered those wonderful pedal-driven Hobie kayaks and I haven’t looked back…But the Cuda is a nice kayak - paddles good and has a nice seat. Not as stable, for me, as the Ride 135 that I had as my first kayak, or my Hobie kayaks that I currently use. Some people can stand and fish in them, but I never got comfortable standing in the Cuda.
