Well launch was open, noticed bunch of dnr and highway patrol hanging out. Took my daughter and her friend neither ever shrimped let alone drive a boat. Day started out when daughters friend getting in boat and I hear a huge splash and my daughters friends face go pale. "I just dropped her 1000 dollar camera in water , daughter is parking car. So here I go diving in 6 ft of water trying to find. Daughter comes to boat and says what are you doing ? I told her what happen she said I have my camera ? It turns out was large bottle of Gatorade !!! So we head out, I then break news to daughter, your driving boat, show her forward, neutral, and reverse and she is good to go. Comical, driving in poles, backwashing bait,almost dumping me ten times. After to runs caught 13 shrimp. Threw out anchor and caught 35 whiting … They loved it and are addicted now. Went back to poles and made few runs and caught 186 shrimp… Perfect for low country boil we had later…
A bottle of gatorade. That is hilarious! Glad ya’ll had a fun day despite the shrimp refusing to cooperate.

Looks like good sized shrimp. Glad you made the most of it. Some days you just have to tough it out.
