left the cut 3:45 with auggie dog, water boy & new mate donnie hunt, nice ride to the jetties.had to slow the rowboat down as the parkers & contenders blew by. 3 hrs. latter arrived north of the S.W. banks 180ft & 74.5 water and boated a30lb. bull as we put the spread out. non stop & never got our full 7 rod spread out till after 9am. all fish were 18/25lbs. most came on dinks on the outriggers or a mex. flag on the way back. just a few on the flatlines(mixed bag of baits tried)stayed around the 200ft. trolling south another 2 hrs. and trolled in to 120ft still picking at them. had another doz, or so knock downs on all lines and the baits came in mauled. we would drop back 5 or 6 times & the fish would take it each time & take line but could never hook one. all the dolphin smaashed our baits and you couldnt get it from them, dont know what they were, any ideas? ended up with 18 good gafferes & a nise ride in to the last 20 & got sloppy, great crew as every one pitched in, cleared lines, rigged baits kept the deck cler & clean, very compatent crew. adabean, im going down to Ft, Pierse for the weekend, the wind is going to blow this weekend. ill be ready to fish next week if you are in ,call.
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
