Which isn’t true. If you want bass, you can certainly grow them there, it just takes a little more care and effort. I don’t have the time or patience. My pond has Catfish and bream.
I bought an auto feeder, but they don’t really need that. They will grow on their own, it’s just faster if you feed them.
Cats/bream are much easier to keep alive. Figure out how to minimize the predators when they are small and they will thrive.
