When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Holy hot diggity, how deep was that guy?
There’s no I in Barbeque Team.
Very nice, where is a good place to buy fresh large mullet??
I may not be a smart man, but I know a butt wipe when I see one
Yep the middle lands but the right place…getting them in and out…buy some frozen whole mullet at Hadrells and cut it up! if you think a crab is biting you reel it in slow and put it in bote, cut pinchers off, stick circle hook through obvious hole and whip it back out there… or pester your local crabber.for some…they are very appreciative…don’t cheap out on them…I think they are in there consistently rt. now cause of the flood pushing a bunch of crab down stream from what i have read…not sure how long it lasts…my 12 yr old is on the first rod sunday…
Thank you for the advice, Hope to see an update here with your son holding one of those hogs:smiley:

A hey RedFish4, What is the best depth and water temp for them???

They tend to hang around deep ledges and drop offs in the harbor or jetties. I’ve caught most this fall in 35-40 feet. If you have a depth recorder run parallel to the jetties and find a spot where it drops 10-15 feet…there is bound to be fish there. I’ve found 62-67 degrees to be the best, but generally September through November is the best time.
