Nice fish! What was the bait of choice. I was out Saturday on the South Jetty and landed 2 on mullet. Sunday I was out again and had one hit. The boat next to me was tearing them up. I was still using mullet and they were using menhaden.
Awesome you got your dad on a pig! Wish I could do the same?
Menhaden. Two per hook. We hooked up with a nice 5’ shark too, but didn’t want to fool with him. Cut horse mullet has been working on the pier.
