Hit the bay alone based on a last second decision yesterday. Got to the bay at 5 and made 2 bait balls for each pole. Started throwing around 540 and it was on like donkey kong full cooler of mostly large and jumbo. Back to the landing at 730. Other boats around me only managed a 1/4 cooler. I’ll be back at it this afternoon:smiley:
Great report, CaptDan
Glad to hear you did well. Any insight on the area conditions you were in. shallow, deep, creek, bay, flats, deephole, channel? I’m off work if you need a net thrower
Water depth was about 1.5 feet when I started and my poles were sitting about 3 1/2 feet when I finish. I set up in the south end of the bay on a small patch of muddy bottom. I would invite you to join me today but I have a couple clients going with me. I will be out there this afternoon in the same area in a Mitzy skiff. Stop by and say hi and I may let you run my pulls a couple times. I hope this information helps you
ANY PICTURES?
BOB
Ive taken hundreds of coolers of shrimp so a cooler full is nothing special to take a pic of for me, I’ve been doing it since I was in grade school. But tonight just for you I will take some pictures in case you trying to imply that I am lying

Man wasn’t trying to start a fight! I only asked if you had any pictures. Why would anyone care if you are lying. A picture wouldn’t prove anything either way. I don’t know you and sure don’t want to. Hope you are calmer with your clients. I know lots of people that think they are better than everyone else around, but I have only saw one post it on the internet. No No I take that back there is more than one.[:0]
BOB
Bob I gave up posting on this site multiple times because of the poor attitudes of others. Im sorry if i read you the wrong way. Im actually a really laid back person but when i think someone is challenging my honesty I get defensive fast. Apologies again! My clients love me because of my honesty and hard work ethic. My work ethic gets me lots of fish and game also. Tonight wasnt quite as good as yesterday but still rock solid. By the way I dont think im the best shrimper or fisherman in the world… but I have put in the time to be pretty (**() good. Time on the water that is.
Capt Dan,
Great report regardless of no pics. I’m glad someone is slaying them.
So, no pictures?
