Decided to take my mom and brother out for a day of trout fishing. We got to Buck Hall just before light. I was so glad that it didn’t rain while we were out there, the clouds pretty much scattered as the sun came up. Is there anything better than a sunrise as you are looking out towards the ocean?
Anyhow, the trout actually were biting pretty good on a cork and some mud minnows. Nothing very special to mention except for some of our dolphin friends coming along scaring all of MY fish away :). Tried a couple new found spots and then came back to the first spot of the day to catch some bigger trout as the tide was almost topped off. I believe the biggest trout of the day was just below 18 inches. Why is it that newbies always catch the bigger fish? haha
Well just wanted to mention our awesome day, its great to spend time with family on the water.
Have a happy Thanksgiving everybody
