Beautiful out there today. Went to the honey hole and no shrimp. Tried 3 other places, no shrimp. Talked with several people and they had no luck either. So, decided to hit the small creeks to find some bait. Nothing, nada, zilch. Couldn’t find a thing. Landed on several mudflats and didn’t even see a fiddler crab. So much for bringing a fish or two home for dinner. So we went exploring. Enjoy the pictures.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing pole in one hand and a beer in the other, body thoroughly used up and screaming --WOO HOO-- what a ride!!
That’s a sweet boat! Did you toss any grubs at all? You may laugh at this but I keep a can of baby clams in my boat…have caught reds,sheep,whiting, black drum on them…and figure if I get stranded…stick a match under it and make a stew
I agree. Classy boat. Appreciate the report on Bull’s. I’m pulling out early tomorrow (Lexington) and coming down to get skunked. Got to use up a bag of bait binder before the season is over though. Looks like it will be in the rain and wind tomorrow. If it weren’t so much fun I’d give up spending all the money on shrimping.
