Went Saturday morning. Shrimp the outgoing. Rough out there. Not as bad as last weekend though. I still could not stand up out there when we got started. Had to seek protection behind Bird Island. Caught about 3 quarts of mostly mediums. Seems like more small this time than the 1st week. Only shrimp about 3 hours as I had to be back for a wife function that night. The audacity of her, planning an outing during shrimping season.
I was hoping this year would be better. So far I’ve been 4 times and have only put up 32 QTS. By the time I give to family and friends won’t have enough to get to next season

We managed enough for supper today out of the north end of the bay. Big shrimp, just not many.
