Bulls Bay skiff

I know there was a post about the new Bulls Bay skiff by Pioneer about a year ago, but I haven’t seen or heard much sense.

I know Charleston marine had one, and it didn’t seem to stay on the lot too long. I am really interested to see if anyone has heard much or had a chance to field test one. The design looks ideal for fishing the low country. My primary concern was that it seemed to lack in storage (for both rods and gear). Also seems that no one local is taking them on…not sure if that is for any specific reason.

Thanks in advance!

They had a couple at the boat show. They seemed pretty nice. Not a ton of storage but enough for inshore fishing. There are almost always a couple on sale on craigslist.

Berkeley Outdoors in Monks Corner carries them.

I may have to take you up on that. I am really interested in them, but haven’t heard anyone review one or really give much detail at all.

I would never! I’ll be keeping that one around for my kids to use one day!

btw - lets do some fishing soon, I want to take a look at your trolling motor platform and see what i might be able to do.

I just love the design, hoping to convince myself to add it to the arsenal sooner or later.
