Bull's Bay, Tuesday 10-23

Got out on the Bay early and decided to try some of the advice posted in other threads. Went to 6 different places “testing” the shrimp. Finally found 1 where the shrimp were coming up a few at the time without bait. Ah-ha, a honey hole. So I setup around 4 for one poling there and waited for low tide (9 something) and kept throwing. I raked um in by the 2s for 5 hours. Most I’ve worked for 1/4 cooler. Size is really getting good on a positive note. I know the pros here would cooler out in mud puddle but us average folk have done a lot better than this out there over the last few years.

glad to hear about the size…now let’s get some better quantity and we’re good to go!

I feel your pain! I have been doing it for the last 6 years pretty steady and still have a long way to go. I tend to commit to a spot and stay through a couple of tides to get them. I have never coolered out quick on my own. I went with an old guy that lives down there and did what he did right next to him and we got them quickly but hec, I have been back to that same area untill I finally gave up on it because I have never been able to repeat those results on my own. Some dudes are just born shrimp gods I guess… or in Ladyshrimpkillers case godesses…
